The International Conference on Discrete Simulation of Fluid Dynamics (DSFD) is one of the oldest and most established scientific meetings in the field of computational fluid dynamics based on discrete models. Over the years, DSFD has become a key forum for discussing the latest advances in methods such as the lattice Boltzmann method, dissipative particle dynamics, multiparticle collision dynamics, smoothed-particle hydrodynamics, direct simulation Monte Carlo and other gas kinetic schemes, as well as hybrid methods. The conferences include sessions on advances in both theory and computation, on the applications of discrete fluid algorithms in science and engineering, and on fundamental issues in mathematical modeling, numerical analysis, statistical mechanics, kinetic theory, and hydrodynamics.

The 35th edition of DSFD will be held in Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina, Brazil from June 29 - July 03, 2026. This edition aims to bring together researchers, scientists, and engineers from around the world to share ideas, present results, and foster collaborations in the growing field of discrete fluid dynamics.
